We Care
Passion and Integrity are core values at People Thrust, and social responsibility is at the heart of both of these values. People Thrust exemplifies these values by positively impacting people’s lives through the pairing of individual’s talents, skills, and passion with the needs of others. To deliver on this promise, the People Thrust team developed a Social Impact Program that will strengthen our leadership and impact.
Team Bonding
Once a year we do a team bonding experience where our staff, collaborators, partners, vendors and clients come together for the weekend. We share stories and get to know each other beyond work, while contributing and being of service. Team bonding and volunteering as a team nurtures positive relationships. As a result, we find commonalities and develop strong working relationships. At People Thrust we value getting to know and learning from each other on a deeper level. In 2019 and 2021, we had a “House Build” where People Thrust provided a home for a family in need in Baja California, Mexico.
Volunteer Day
One day of the year staff and collaborators are paid to do a volunteer activity of their choice. Volunteering goes hand-in-hand with our core values and allows us to be of service. When we volunteer for a cause that is close to our heart, we naturally become happy; and studies show that when we are happy, we are more productive in the workplace.
Matching Contribution
With the People Thrust matching contribution program, the staff and collaborators have the opportunity to donate to a nonprofit organization with a dollar-for-dollar match that amplifies their impact. We promote the act of giving by doubling donations to a cause that is near and dear to our collective heart.
