Instructional Designer

Position Title: Instructional Designer

Location: Remote (Work@Home)

Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST, M-F except for USA National Holidays (Tentative)

Duration: Full-Time

Position Summary:

The goal and objective of the Instructional Designer  is to drive product adoption by managing the foundational processes of developing content for training programs and creating engaging digital learning experiences for both the MedHub and E*Value products. This role is at the forefront of client satisfaction, as the Instructional Designer – Contractor develops experiences that enable clients and boosts the learners’ confidence.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Instructional Design team to develop e-learning and virtual training offerings.
  • Prototype and develop learning content (e-learning, job aids, etc.) that promotes Learning retention.
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather training content and determine training audiences.
  • Develop and edit client-facing training videos.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Graphic Design, Instructional Design or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of experience in multimedia/graphic design and using popular photo/video editing software (Adobe Photoshop, TechSmith Camtasia, etc.).
  • 1 year of experience designing learning experiences for adult learners : ADDIE (or a similar design philosophy)
  • 1 year of experience using a rapid e-learning development tool (Articulate 360 suite is preferred, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new training development and delivery technologies very quickly.
  • Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects with rigorous deadlines.
  • Strong desire to learn new web-based technologies, such as MedHub and E*Value.
  • Strong attention to detail as it pertains to designing, developing and delivering learning experiences.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to groups of employees, speak interpersonally with individuals, and report to senior team members and leadership.
  • Skilled in Camtasia Recorder, Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
