What is a tradition you have and why?

“I have read other collaborator’s interviews from Mexico and they have explained certain Mexican traditions very well. My family’s tradition is getting together every Saturday to share a meal. We like to prepare seafood plates or my grandma makes pozole (a brothy, hearty Mexican soup made with hominy and meat, such as beef or pork, or seafood or vegetables.) I used to live in Colima and now I moved to the other side of the country, Veracruz, I made an effort to keep this tradition alive no matter where I live.”

If you could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive) who it would be, and why?

“I would love to have dinner with Chef Rachel Hooks. She is an Australian chef and her cooking style inspires me. I admire how she makes desserts and how detail-oriented she is.  “Listen… I’m not a morning person haha. However, what inspires me to wake up every day is the smiles I will receive and give. I wake up grateful that I get to live another day.”

What is a moment in your career and life you’re most proud of?

“I believe back in 2019, in the job I had before People Thrust I earned an award (Leave A Mark). This award is given to a person who contributes to the company and employee’s well-being and goes above and beyond. This award took me by surprise because I was managing a team of 60 people and I was only working in the company for 3 months. I used to be afraid of maternity and the responsibilities that entitle me, in addition, I was moving to a new place for the first time. I’m very proud of myself because a few years ago I was so afraid of the unknown and the changes and here I am embracing all of it. ”

What do you do when you are feeling deflated?

“I make an appointment and go to therapy and the beach is my happy place.”
